Built by a Collector, Not a Corporation
"I didn't start Collectidex because I saw a market gap on a spreadsheet. I started it because I was a collector who was tired of settling for acrylic cases that yellowed, loose fits that rattled, and brands that clearly never held a Pokémon ETB in their hands. Collectidex exists because I built what I actually wanted to own. Every protector I sell is something I'd put on my own shelf."

Precision Fit Isn't a Buzzword Here
"Anyone can slap acrylic together and call it a display case. What I obsessed over was fit, the kind where your box sits locked in, with zero wobble, zero gap, zero compromise. I've seen what 'close enough' looks like on a $200 booster box, and it's not good enough. Collectidex protectors are engineered to the exact dimensions of the boxes we love. That's not marketing that's just what collectors deserve."

Fair Pricing Is Part of the Mission
"Premium shouldn't mean price gouged. I know what it's like to watch the hobby get more expensive every year, boxes, singles, sealed cases. I refused to make protective cases another way the hobby drains your wallet. Collectidex keeps quality high and pricing fair because I'm not a faceless brand trying to extract margin. I'm a collector trying to protect the hobby for the both of us."

The Professor Dex Story
"I've been in the trading card hobby long enough to remember when protecting your collection was an afterthought. Then the hobby exploded sealed product became serious money, Elite Trainer Boxes turned into display pieces, and suddenly how you stored and showcased your collection actually mattered.
I went looking for the right acrylic protector. What I found was a market full of products made by people who'd clearly never owned a booster box in their life, cases that didn't fit right, acrylics that clouded over time, and prices that felt like they were capitalizing on collectors rather than serving them.
So I did what any obsessive collector would do. I went and built it myself.
I sourced, I sampled, I rejected a lot of bad product before landing on something I was actually proud to put my name on. Collectidex started as a one person operation because it had to... I wasn't willing to hand the quality control off to someone who didn't care as much as I did. I still don't.
I'm not a big brand. I'm not a warehouse with a logo. I'm a collector who got tired of waiting for someone else to do this right so I became Professor Dex and did it myself. Every protector that ships from Collectidex is something I stand behind personally, because my name and my reputation in this hobby are on the line with every single order.
Protect what you love. That's the whole mission."
